Team Spotlight: JC Jacinto on UX and UI design

Chexology’s culture isn’t carved in stone; it grows organically from the character of each member of our team. Together, we make up a close-knit company of individuals from all walks of life. One of those team members is JC Jacinto!

JC Jacinto UX Designer

What is your role in the company, and what types of challenges are you solving?

I'm the UX/UI Designer here at Chexology. I concentrate on understanding and solving user challenges. My approach goes beyond just creating aesthetically pleasing designs; it's about deeply understanding our users' needs, behaviors, and the issues they face. This involves a lot of research, user testing, and iterative design to ensure we're not just meeting but exceeding our users' expectations.

As a UX and UI designer, what drew you to Chexology?

One of the aspects that drew me to Chexology was the sense of culture and team from my initial interactions.

What advice do you have for prospective Chexology candidates?

Be willing to challenge yourself and others in a constructive way. If you truly believe in an idea, show why and share it with the team.

What’s one of your favorite companies Chexology partners with and why?

Yaamava. During our onsite training with them, we discovered a lot of valuable insights, and their feedback led to some pretty cool findings. (Their fantastic cookies and coffee every morning might also contribute to my answer!)

What’s a piece of advice that’s worth sharing?

Enjoy the small wins on your way to achieving the big ones.

Does a straw have one or two holes?

I’ll let y’all answer this one. :D
